Pontini Launches World Gourmet Summit 2014 Epicurean Menu

From 26 March to 5 April, gastronomes can revel in Pontini’s World Gourmet Summit 2014 Epicurean Menu. This menu is delicately crafted by Head Chef, Daniele Sarno who is all set to enamour you with traditional Italian cuisine married with modern preparation methods. 

The World Gourmet Summit is the pioneer and annual gastronomic extravaganza in Singapore that showcases the intricate craftsmanship of prestigious chefs. During this period, Pontini’s Head Chef, Daniele Sarno will be dishing out many exquisite creations from different regions in Italy. 


Pan-seared Hokkaido scallop, capsicum puree, black olive mousse and cress.

Handmade pappardelle, suckling pig ragout, porcini mushrooms and leek

Next, luxuriate in the robust flavours of the handmade pappardelle, suckling pig ragout, porcini mushrooms and leek. This is a popular dish in Sardinia and the whole suckling pig is diced to prepare the ragout. Porcini mushrooms and leek are then added to enhance the flavour of the dish and take diners to a new level of culinary experience.

Originating from Rome (Lazio region), this dish is a creative blend of different textures and flavours and resonates with freshness of ingredients. The Welsh lamb rack is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth.
