Recipe - Healthy Cajun Chicken with Steamed Bell Peppers and Broccoli

(This is my own recipe, but dish is lovingly prepared by my hubby.)

To look good and feel good, one needs to have a healthy diet. Many people do not bother to cook at home and often eat convenience meals or oily food at the hawker centres. Preparing a home-cooked meal is not as difficult as it seems. It takes less than half an hour and it is hassle free.
This Cajun Chicken with Steamed Bell Peppers and Broccoli recipe is a very easy dish to prepare. Although the preparation method is healthy, taste is not compromised.
It is low in calories and is excellent for people who are trying to lose weight. It contains lots of vitamins and minerals. Bell peppers are extremely rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin E and carotenoids such as alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, lycopene, cryptoxanthin and zeaxanthin. It helps to keep your skin radiant and glowing and also prevents esophageal and gastric cancer. Bell peppers are naturally sweet and taste good without seasoning.

Broccoli is also rich in vitamin A, iron, vitamin K, B-complex vitamins, zinc, phosphorus and phyto-nutrients and helps to prevent diabetes and heart disease.

Chicken breast is used in this recipe as it is lower in fat than thigh or wing.

Ingredients:-1 pack of chicken (with 2 pieces of chicken breast)
-1 broccoli
-2 Bell peppers (red and yellow)

Preparation Method
-Wash the chicken breast
-Marinate the chicken with Cajun spice, salt, black pepper, dried parsley and oregano
- You can either grill, bake or air fry it. I prefer to air fry it as it is easy and fast.
-Set to about 180 degrees and place the chicken breast in the air fryer for about 15 minutes till it is slightly brown.
-Steam the vegetables for about 8 minutes.
-Dish is ready to be served.
