Enjoying my steamboat
Located at the second level of the newest mall at Tanjong Pagar Road, OneKM, Beauty in the Pot is the latest and one of the most revolutionary concepts by the Paradise Group. The ambience is cosy with brick walls and wooden furniture, reminiscent of one of the hotpot restaurants in China. The interior is elegant with dark, louvered panels enhanced by a variety of feature lights.
The waitresses are amicable and attentive and are trained to treat diners like royalty, bowing every time they leave your table, be it after taking your order, serving your food or refilling your water. Dining here is an indulgent and pampering experience from the beginning to the end of the meal.
Inspired by the culture of food for health, the hotpot concept offers nutritious and rejuvenating soup bases boasting abundant benefits including anti-ageing and nourishing properties. Emphasising on the perfect balance of Yin and Yang, the soup bases are meticulously brewed by the culinary team. The two signature soup bases are the dense beauty collagen soup and spicy nourishing soup - $20 per pot (with three levels of spiciness). The former comprises shark’s cartilage as the main ingredient while the latter is prepared using ginseng, dang gui, dangshen, wolfberries and red dates. Offering also the twin flavours broth ($25), guests can savour the best of both worlds.
